Babs 8

This is my first attempt at an original drawing of Babs, using what I'd learned from the previous drawings to make it. It took me a lot longer to do this one because it was original, and it took a while to figure out how to do certain things. I think drawing her in profile was a mistake, because she wasn't really meant to be drawn in profile. I did ok for most of it, although the ears and feet were particularly difficult to get them to look right.

I did end up cheating just a little bit by looking at a couple screen grabs from the DVDs of her in a profile view. I needed help so I could fix a few errors that were giving me trouble, especially with her mouth, but I didn't copy them. I only looked at them a couple times for reference to see what the animators had done, and then did my own thing. It's certainly not perfect, but I think I'm happy with it.
